Good value for money stay in a stay with character

Pros: Comfy stay and very uncomplicated staff. There was even a bit of music in the evening. Easy to get there.

Cons: Not really something we disliked

Lovely hotel in a beautiful leafy location with great local eateries

Pros: The hotel is set in a lovely leafy town centre in the national park. We were there for two nights for racing at Assen and it was a perfect location 20mins from the track with plenty of restaurants and shops in the town. There is plenty of spaces for motorbikes at the back. It’s not locked by there are two security cameras and we were pretty comfortable leaving our bikes there. The hotel was lovely and really reasonably priced. The rooms were nice with a balcony and the food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Only 1 extra pillow, which we only realised when we went to bed. I’m sure they would have provided another if we’d asked.

Pros: Public areas were very good and staff were very friendly

Cons: Bedroom decor, furniture and carpets were very dated

I had a very comfortable stay.

Pros: Hair dryer works well. Good sound isolation. Friendly reception. Nearby supermarket.

Cons: The room and facilities are bit old (yet functioning well).

Pros: Felt very welcome the morning reception was so helpful didn't meet evening staff but I feel sure they would have made us welcome too defiantly will be staying with you again top mark's 😀

Pros: A very pleasant stay. The staff were truly friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The rooms were clean, the breakfasts were standard, and the dinners were very good with generous portions. The location is good, you can take a walk into the city on the weekend. Accessibility by car is also fine, with parking available either in front of the hotel or in a private lot behind the hotel (the access is a bit narrow, but you can find a spot even during the Friday markets).

Pros: Basic but comfortable rooms. Lovely restaurant and good breakfast. Location is perfect to explore the outdoors as well as lovely towns, Hunebedden and even the city of Groningen. Rooms are quite basic but with coffee and tea in room! Free parking too. Staff was super nice!

Cons: It is not very soundproof and sounds of people talking in the hallway sounded very loud, as do doors etc of other rooms. Rooms and bathrooms, also the toiletries in the bathroom, are basic but all you need is there. No fridge though.

Nice room. Nice Hotel. Good bike storage.

Pros: We had a lovely and very large room overlooking the front of the hotel. Despite the road outside we heard very little noise at night. We were on a bike tour and the bike storage in a locked room was great. The breakfast was good and extensive. Overall we were very satisfied.

Cons: The room was a bit stuffy. We needed to open the windows and we got a couple of mosquitos as a result.

Pros: Clean, neat, and tidy Free parking at the back of the property Staff were really helpful Breakfast buffet/smorgasbord is fresh and great value Right in the middle of town with a supermarket next door
