Comfortable, quiet and lovely location

Pros: I like the location. Beds are comfy and the facilities such as the swimming pool are great.

Cons: Nothing, bit it could do with an upgrade. The bin in my room was broken and there was no mirror to do my hair. Also everything is very brown.

Great location and facilities!

Pros: Great location by the lake, nice walks close by, and easy to get to Groningen (15 minutes by bus right outside the hotel). It was nice that there is a pool, sauna and gym as well which were all open 07:00 - 22:00 every day. We did not include breakfast in our stay, but did use the restaurant/bar and food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was also beautifully lit up with fairy lights inside and outside for Christmas.

Cons: It would have been nice to have had the option to have a double bed instead of 2 single beds. We were told that the double rooms in the hotel all have single beds.

An enjoyable stay and would stay again if in the area.

Pros: Quiet location with plenty of easy car parking. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Facilities were good in the spacious room, which had a pleasing woodland view. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was tasty - we had dinner there on two nights during our 5-day stay.

Lovely surroundings, very peaceful and relaxed break

Pros: Really nice location/surroundings (reason for choice), swimming pool, gym, easy public transport access (bus)

Cons: Service in restaurant appeared a bit inefficient (had to repeat request for drink, waited a long time to get attention for ordering desert), perhaps because we were sitting outside (but then so did many others)
