HarTeluk Joure

Recommended stay, would stay there again when in the neighborhood

Pros: - Location close to highway - Friendly staff - Big room (booked the suite)

Pros: The food was great and tasty. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice and quiet place to stay with family or friends for holiday or work purpose.

Cons: One of the reception staff was not that friendly that evening. Our friend took my husband and I there and we would like to have drinks at the restaurant before my friend went back home. The lady questioned us in an unfriendly way: You are three persons but the reservation is for two. Also when we asked whether we could use the library to another staff, the man asked her and she said no with an unfriendly tone. After we asked why, she said the library will be used tomorrow and they need to prepare the room this evening, also in an unfriendly tone. The fact that we couldn't use the room was fine, but the way she answered our questions was not nice.

It was a place of tranquility and rest with everything I needed at hand.

Pros: I loved its location and the facilities were excellent. I extended my booking to an extra night I loved it so much.

Cons: All good

Pros: There is a canal out side the room, which is very very beautiful. The hotel is close to the main road, so sometimes it is a little bit noisy in the evening.

Nice Hotel. Highly Recommend

Pros: The Location was perfect with a free carpark. The Hotel was clean with a nice restaurant and bar.

Cons: It would have been nice to find some USB charging sockets in the room and maybe some net curtains for the windows. I was on the ground floor with full length windows looking out onto a carpark.

The first hotel, in 55 years of travelling, where I walked in and it immediately smelled clean.

Pros: Situated in a quiet but busy part of Friesland. A great overnight hotel if you are on a road trip. Clean and welcoming, good sized car park, rooms are so clean, you feel like you are the first person to stay in that room. Beds are wonderful.

Cons: All good

Clean , nice comfortable bed with a brilliant night Porter called Wim

Pros: Nice room & good staff. Specially the night porter called Wim

Cons: Liked everything

Excellent value for the price.

Pros: General 'human-sized' and welcoming atmosphere of the premises. Fresh, clean and quiet ground-floor room with a terrace. Superb buffet breakfast for a very decent price (real coffee, fresh juice, etc.), taken in a very original glasshouse. Original budget gift shop. Easy parking.

Comfy clean and great location

Pros: Spotlessly clean super beds towels and great staff, nice food and perfect location to motorway. But still very very quiet location

Cons: Nothing all perfect

A beautiful and pleasant stay

Pros: The room is great, like the pictures. Everything feels new and decorated beautifully. Recommended.

Cons: There is no door that separates the room from the toilet. Since there were no pictures of it, that was a surprise. I can imagine that being uncomfortable for some people, so it should definitely be added to the photos. The window was open by the time we arrived, which is great for the air to circulate, but since it was late and it was still open, we had an extra guest, a mosquito. Maybe good to only leave it open for a while.
