Go and visit Jan you won't regret a stay in this beautiful town.

Pros: JAN!!!! He was honestly the highlight of the stay he was so enthusiastic about his town and making sure we had a great time, also gave us great local knowledge about places to eat and local shops and when we rented a boat he went to great lengths to explain where we might encounter problems and how to navigate them. The rooms were also well furnished and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable, and the waterside rooms had beautiful views. Also, the breakfast selection was vast and very tasty.

Cons: Nothing i would go back again in a heartbeat.

Pros: A truly wonderful hotel! Very clean and well-maintained. The owners were extremely kind and professional in their dealings with us. We rented a boat and bicycles from them — it was an amazing and smooth experience. The owner explained everything clearly and made it so easy. Highly recommended, one of the best places I’ve stayed at!

A lovely stay in a clean, well equipped hotel in a beautiful area.

Pros: The quiet location and the proximity to the lovely walk into Giethoorn. The included breakfast was very good with continental and cooked options. The restaurant was lovely with good choices for evening meals. The staff were extremely helpful especially the hotel manager and the head waiter.

Very comfortable room. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and funny.

Cons: The receptionist man was NICE , the lady wasn’t . The breakfast was poor . The rental boat was expensive.

Friendly hotel in Giethoorn

Pros: A charming and friendly hotel with a good breakfast. The rooms were very good and clean. It's a bit far from the main village so you need a car (free parking available on property). The folks running this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Boats and cycles available for rent on property. You can rent a boat and go into the main village.

Quiet and Welcoming

Pros: The staff was very warm, welcoming, informative, and had a great sense of humor. We were given great advice on how to spend our time in Giethoorn and enjoyed every second of it. The hotel is in a very quiet area and it genuinely feels like you are on holiday when there.

Cons: It is a bit of a trek to the main part of Giethoorn. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, but it does not run past 715pm or so. Plan accordingly.

It’s a good choice to stay at a hotel near the village. The host is a very kind and welcoming person.

Pros: The environment is very pleasant, and it’s conveniently close to the village.

Cons: It gets a bit cold at night, but the heating system doesn’t operate during this season, and the air conditioner isn’t powerful enough. The breakfast also falls short of expectations.

Beautiful Giethoorn experience at Harmonie Hotel and we loved the canal boat tour.

Pros: The location was spectacular - on the edge of the village looking over the canal from our terrace room. Our host was incredibly helpful, funny and informative. Highly recommend this hotel for the Giethoorn experience.
