great suite, great riverview, but with silly drawbacks, especially at that price

Pros: nice lay out of the room, good furniture, kitchenette well equiped. Overall good quality. Great view. Excellent location

Cons: WC door was “Barn door”-type sliding door: did not completely close off the WC…not a matter of wear&tear, but clearly a (rather silly) design choice. Light switches were a bit of a nightmare….every combination of switches on/off seemed to produce a different outcome Shower did not heat up properly, sometimes

Great location, a delightful city, river ferry just three minutes walk away.

Pros: Great location, lovely outlook and no traffic noise. Light-filled rooms and minimal but adequate kitchen appliances. Good breakfast in the Hotel, just two minutes walk away.

Cons: The stairs - we were two floors up - were very steep, so if you have heavy luggage that could be a problem.

We love all about the River suites

Pros: Liked it all. Location, the suite, the interior, the windows, the bath, the difference in levels in the room, the easy check-in in the beautiful 'mother hotel Huis Vermeer', the breakfast and the city. O and most comfy AUPING beds. Beware if you book, you might don't want to leave the room ;)

Amazing Suite!

Pros: The suite was really really amazing! The best place I ever stayed at. We initially booked the other suite, but they gave us an upgrade to the river suite. The view on the Ijssel was amazing, the room is so big and the bath is wonderful. I would truly recommend everybody to stay here. You are in the city center already and Deventer is a very cute city.

Cons: Nothing really, but the stairs is a really steep so just be aware of this.

Amazing, unforgettable stay!

Pros: Amazing place!!! Great location, beautiful views of the Ijssel and in the heart of Deventer. Beautifully furnished, full fridge, extremely comfortable beds. Thanks for the tip to use the Free Parking across the river and take the small ferry (which stops 2 min walk away). We would love to come back.

Pros: A real gem, beautifully located in the heart of Deventer. We spent a wonderful anniversary weekend there. We felt well taken care of by Shen and the team, and the apartment was equipped with everything we could wish for.

Pros: Mooie kamer met veel ruimte. Keukenblokje. Lekkere bank en tv. Heerlijk bed. Perfecte locatie middenin de stad. Heerlijk ontbijt en aardig personeel. Onze bagage werd zelfs naar de kamer gebracht.
