The Wikkel House was so lovely set in a small forest, which feels very calm. Excellent breakfast!

Pros: Absolutely loved the Wikkel House we stayed in. Felt like we were right in the middle of the forest, which we all loved. Breakfast was excellent

Children's paradise

Pros: The place is a dream for kids. The main building an old genuine Norwegian hunting lodge, which hosts a large playroom and dining room and bar. There are smaller buildings with sleeping accommodation. We dined here one evening and the food was great value.

Cons: The beds were really hard and it's strange that none of the options actually offer a double beds for parents to share (the mezzanine bed has a plank separating the two singles). The air conditioning in our family room did not work properly so the mezzanine was a little hot to sleep on.
