Plompeblad Suite Giethoorn

A wonderful relaxing stay.

Pros: The property was very quaint. It had everything you needed. Our hosts were very welcoming and there if you needed them. The house was very clean. The bed very comfortable. Having the use of the boat was a great positive although we were not very good at first we soon got the hang of it

Cons: Nothing. Be aware though that the fridge is small and there is no freezer.

Great location offering the best views of Giethoorn

Pros: Last week we stayed at the Plompeblad Guesthouse in Giethoorn and highly recommend the 1 Bedroom Cottage for its excellent location. Situated right on the waterway, it offered the best views each morning as we sat outside our front door, sipping coffee and watching the ducks and boats glide by. This guesthouse provided the perfect base to experience the charm of Giethoorn, with its picturesque boat-filled waterways, scenic footpaths, charming bridges, bicycle trails and centuries-old thatched-roof houses. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made our stay truly memorable. If you are looking for the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the unique picturesque atmosphere of Giethoorn, the Plompeblad Guesthouse is the ideal choice

Cons: Personally, the only inconvenience was the fact that the bathroom is downstairs and the rest of the home (living, dining and kitchen) is upstairs. This was a bit inconvenient for both of us especially at night and also seeing as my husband had a knee surgery not too long ago. We were not aware of the layout of the home prior to booking this property as this was not mentioned on Booking.com so it caught us by surprise when we checked in! So, also bear in mind that you will have to carry your luggage upstairs.

Pros: Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber! Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist ausgezeichnet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit vielen Antiquitäten und dabei sehr gemütlich. Alles war blitzsauber und bestens vorbereitet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Pros: Die Suite liegt direkt an einem der Hauptkanäle,auf denen an Wochenenden reger Bootsverkehr herrscht. Vom Aussensitzplatz kann man dem Treibern zuschauen oder auch nicht. Der Wohnraum ist über eine steile Treppe nach oben zu erreichen. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein großes Bad mit WC.

Pros: Wir haben in der Unterkunft alles genau so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Die Lage ist überragend!

Pros: Location is perfect Host is perfect Place is clean Decorations are nice

Cons: The only thing that was bathroom was in the ground floor while the bed room in first floor

Fantastisch en voor herhaling vatbaar!

Pros: De locatie, direct aan de gracht, waar de hele dag veel te zien was door de kruising van de vele bootjes.

Genoten van ons lang weekend, ongeacht het ongelooflijk slechte weer.

Pros: De locatie was prima. Buitenkomen en onmiddellijk met het bootje een tocht maken. Buiten kunnen eten (wanneer het weer het toeliet)

Cons: S'nachts redelijk veel lawaai in het huis. Volgens de eigenaar waarschijnlijk afkomstig van een steenmarter. Het weer viel enorm tegen, maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen natuurlijk.
