Newbies to Friesland
Pros: Willem and Wendy are lovely hosts with a small collection of variously sized safari tents, some wooden chalets and a few camping pitches making it something of a bijou site. It was mostly unoccupied for the week we spent there (in 2 person Out of Africa tent) as it was in early July before school holidays. Not everything is available through booking.com. It was nice to have a shower and toilet in the tent.They have a good app to download for information. I particularly enjoyed sailing with Willem. We didn't use the sauna or hot tub but Wendy did help us use the washing machine. Friesland is an interesting place to visit so come on Brits, get the ferry over (and bring bikes)
Cons: You're at the southern end of Friesland so a bit of driving is required to some points of interest.

Amazing recharging break
Pros: The tent is well decorated and can see a lot of person touch. The space around and inside the tent is amazing. Willem is an excellent host so does Wendy ! We booked hot tub and pizza oven! They are the highlights of our stay!
Cons: It is a tent after all, so, it does get chilly in the evening and in the morning. Wendy lent us two hot water bottles and the duvets are very thick. So, we are feeling ok. Please bring warm clothes

Great stay. Great for Kids. Great for bicycle rides. Lovely Area. Lovely Hosts.
Pros: Willem and his wife are excellent hosts. The grounds are huge, there is plenty of space for children to play. There is even a small playground suitable for children aged 3+ or so. We slept in one of the tents, which was very well equipped. There was a large bed with a canopy and a bunk bed for children. The kitchen and bathroom in the tent are also well equipped. All the tents have different themes, with lovely decorations to match. We were in the Asia tent - and there was authentic Chinese furniture, even the towels matched the style. Much of the furniture was built by Willem himself and everything is very cleverly thought out. The space in the tents is used optimally. We had our own bikes with us and made great tours through the beautiful area. You can also hire bikes from Willem. We were completely self-catered for our meals, but you can also have bread delivered in the morning. All in all, I can highly recommend Kampari. I would stay here again and again. Simply fantastic.
Cons: I have no negative points to say about Kampari. Unfortunately, my wife was ill for half of our vacation. That was a shame :( In July/August there were very penetrating mosquitoes in the evening, which came out when it dawned. But there was even anti-mosquito spray provided by Willem. But mosquitoes are part and parcel of areas with lots of wetlands - so nothing to really criticize.

Fantastische camping midden op het Friese platteland.
Pros: Geweldige plek, veel rust en natuur, hele vriendelijke eigenaar die met alles meedenkt, prachtige safari tent van alle gemakken voorzien en met veel oog voor detail ingericht, schoon, comfortabel en een fantastische ervaring voor ons en onze kinderen van 5 en 8.
Cons: Helemaal niets!

Camping Deluxe
Pros: Das Kampari hat eine total schöne Lage. Mitten im Grünen und fernab von Wohngebieten oder Tourismus. Die Zelte sind groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Es gibt keinen direkten Blick auf den Nachbarn, da die Zelte durch hohe Hecken gut geschützt sind. Kleine Bonusmöglichkeiten wie einen Pizzaofen oder einen Whirpool werden angeboten. Die beiden Gastgeber sind freundlich und bereiten den Gästen einen herzlichen Empfang. Sie stecken viel Arbeit in das Kampari und es fehlt an nichts. Vermutlich bauen sie alles in Eigenregie und reparieren nach ihren Möglichkeiten alles selbst. Camping Deluxe..!
Cons: Keine Kritik, alles war gut!! Nur zur Info: Personen, die schnell frieren, sollten dicke und warme Sachen dabei haben. In den Zelten kühlt es schnell aus. Aber auch das wurde vorher von den Besitzern erklärt. Sie weisen darauf hin, dass es kühl wird und zeigen, wie der Ofen funktioniert.

Heerlijk lang weekend
Pros: Wij zaten in tent out of Africa . Leuke Safari tent met heerlijk bed met klamboe, goed uitgeruste keuken, prima privé sanitair en ruim terras. Aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving.
