Hotel Hoogeveen

Pros: Very clean and nice place. Felt very safe. The Japanese restaurant is very tasty and worth the price.

Cons: It is a little far from the main area, but walking or having the contacts of the local Taxi is very helpful. The bathroom to me had a little smell which we werent really sure of.

Comfortable. Clean abd friendly

Pros: Property very nice, clean and staff were great. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Cons: No food available after 9pm and we didn't arrive until 11.30ish. Just prepacked sandwiches would have very much appreciated.

Pros: Good facilities, clean throughout, comfortable bed most of the staff were very helpful.

Cons: Staff member in sushi restaurant told us we would have to wait an hour for a table, yet there were loads of empty tables? A little bit out of the way location wise.

10/10 would recommend

Pros: They let me stay without a passport when I got kicked out of my house, ill remember forever ❤️. Kind people, good food, excellent bed, amazing shower, good tv, had a water boiler for tea :).

Cons: Room was a bit too warm

Great staff

Pros: Staff was super helpful (especially Christine in reception). They booked my taxi for return journeys and always willing to help with any questions I had (even before I had arrived.

Cute Insta Worthy Boutique Hotel

Pros: The hotel decor gave a boutique feel with lots of insta worthy staging for photos.

Cons: There was only two bottles of shampoo and now shower gel in our bathroom and both the shampoo and hand lotion were locked tight and I was unable to open them.

Very satisfied as it suited our requirements

Pros: Modern with large clean rooms and very good bathroom. Nice restaurant serving very nice food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: A good hotel that was not too close to anywhere else such as the town and station.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with excellent food in the brasserie

Cons: It’s quite a walk from the station, especially with luggage, and no taxis were available at the station

A really enjoyable stay

Pros: The room was really lovely, good facilities, very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and lunch were both plentiful and delicious.

Cons: Not the fault of the hotel, but it was difficult to get to from the train station.

Good services and comfy, and good location

Pros: Good sized room, comfy beds, great restaurant on site, town, station and parkrun each just over a mile away

Cons: Asked for a light fixture to be fixed, was not done while we were there
