Nice and relaxing

Pros: I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although it was just one night, I enjoyed my time here.

Cons: The rooms were quite noisy; you could hear everything from outside and the neighbors.

New and old mixed really well with brilliant hospitality

Pros: Modern and old mix, hotel away from the main building, parking nice bar and restaurant beautiful out look. The staff I feel make a place what it is and the staff here were wonderful

Cons: No air con but it was exceptionally hot and a fan was provided

Pros: The lady running breakfast was excellent, very nice and efficient.

Cons: Check-in after hours was not a good experience. The person responsible was obviously not happy with us coming in later than normal (even though this was communicated beforehand).

Lovely night stop in a castle.

Pros: Marvellous place ! First, the prices are very much attractives ! The room was well arranged, with quality equipments. The building where the rooms are is appart from the castle but it doesn't matter the quality ! That second building is very welcoming with large meeting rooms and well decorated. Back to the castle itself, the restaurant is as warming as delicious ! You'll enjoy a drink of red wine with a piece of meat in front of the fire place ! And not forgetting the staff which is friendly and kind. I'll come back for sure !

A wondeful hotel with a lot of character in a qaint little town with a good selection of restaurants, bakeries and shops

Pros: The beautiful property is nicely decorated and furnished and everything was very clean. The rooms we stayed in were in a separate building – a converted grain warehouse. It is centrally located in Coevorden.

Cons: it was slightly inconvenient that the rooms were in a separate building about 100 m from the reception. however, that was clearly stated in the description (so not a surprise)
