Good breakfast and great service

Pros: We enjoyed a single night at the hotel. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and a beer in the cosy cafe. The breakfast was good with a fine selection to choose from. The room was large and the bed was comfortable - a bit on the soft side but that is of course a matter of preference. Wouldn’t mind returning another time of year and explore the area a bit. The staff was kind, smiling and helpful all around.

Great spot for an overnight stay during a bike tour.

Pros: I was solo bike touring, booked last minute, Hotel was a perfect place to stay, secure bike parking facilities and breakfast was great, Almen is a lovely village.

Great stay, lovely location and friendly staff.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and made us very welcome. The room was comfortable if a little small. We needed a larger bathroom due to a physical impairment and the hotel were more than happy to set us a room which had what we needed.

Cons: The rooms as quite basic and felt a little dated. A double bed rather than two singles pushed together would have been nice. The ground floor room's window was very large and looked out onto a public area which made us feel a little exposed as people walked passed unless we kept the main curtains closed. Restaurant was very expensive but food was good.

Pros: Goed geslapen en goed gegeten (diner, ontbijt). Personeel heel attent.

Cons: Naar onze maatstaven staat de verwarming in de kamer aan de hoge kant. Voor de meeste bezoekende gasten zal dat juist goed zijn en wij waren er maar één nacht; we hebben er maar niet aan zitten draaien..
