Netherlands 🇳🇱

We had a wonderful time over Christmas.

Pros: Very pretty cottage with a well-equipped kitchen and a working fireplace, located in a community of similar cottages in a forested area. Ideal for a calm and quiet vacation. We stayed there for five nights over Christmas and the hosts kindly (and unexpectedly) decorated the cottage for the occasion.

Cons: The bedrooms are on the first floor and accessible via a steep and narrow staircase while the only toilet and bathroom are downstairs. This arrangement is not ideal if you have elderly people with you (80+ in our case; we should have anticipated better).

Knusse cottage!
