A brief stay on route from the UK to Norway!

Pros: A lovely old property with friendly owners who are restoring it slowly. The spacious rooms are full of antiques. The breakfast was excellent. We could walk to the middle of Stadskanaal and drive to an interesting fortified medieval village named Bourtange.

Cons: The bedroom was not very well lit.
