Kampen Kogge, 't Hanzehyus

Pros: The tastefully decorated and designed room. The view from the windows of the sailing ships that moor along the quayside. The hosts, so kind and thoughtful, who provide a selection of alcholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nibbles and chocolates for their guests...nice touch 🤩 Overall, one of the best places we have ever stayed. Forget Amsterdam, if you are looking to stay in a charming former Hanseatic town, on the River Ijssel, we'd wholeheartedly recommend Kampen and 't Hanzehuys.

Cons: Everything was amazing!

Amazing stay for our wedding night

Pros: We stayed here for our wedding night and the hosts definitely made it a stay to remember! They prepared the bed with rose petals for us, hung balloons in the room, prepared us two glasses with champagne, left a sweet greetings card in the room, and the next morning we had an amazing breakfast! We definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Kampen. The view from the room was magnificent, looking over the Ijssel, and the room itself was just great. The beds are extremely comfy and can be adjusted in height (for your head and legs), the blinds are electronic and work really well, and the bathroom is filled with lots of additional items you wouldn't even see at top hotels. So a big thanks to our hosts who have made this stay definitely one of the best stays we've had ever, and made our wedding day end on a high note.
