B&B Giethoorn

Pros: We enjoyed our stay. Janine was very welcome, even though we didn't see each other 😀 it was a very relaxing weekend. Thank you!

Pros: There is a nice bathtub. We enjoyed it a lot. The outside view from the apartment is delightful.

Cosy and unique

Pros: Small, charming and unusual accommodation with a fantastic (meditative) view of nature. Away from the tourist hustle and bustle, but you can also get there very quickly (10-15 minutes on foot). Janine is a very nice host.

Amazing, as expected!

Pros: Perfect location, near the stores. The room itself is so pretty and so cozy! We relaxed and enjoyed our stay there a lot.

This is a conveniently located, calm, modern, beautiful, and restful space.

Pros: The place is modern and beautifully styled with a gorgeous bath in the room. It is conveniently located -- I'd say about a 15 min walk into the heart of the binnenpad. It's a short walking distance to the supermarket (Plus) if you want to grab picnic snacks. It's also roomy. There is space enough for two people to be comfortable and not feel like you're packed on top of each other. Janine, the host, was responsive to messages and kind in her replies. We were able to check in an hour earlier.

Cons: I cleaned the bathtub properly before getting in. It could've been scrubbed better.

Unique room in a beautiful location

Pros: The decor of the spacious room. The bathtub, the garden with the unique beautiful backyard and exceptional view. Everything is excellent. The owner is a Fine lady so attentive and friendly.

Cons: Nothing. I wish we could have stayed till 12noon at least.

nature!

Pros: It's a beautiful place surrounded by nature, and has good access to the Old Town. The owners were a very kind and cheerful family.

Serene

Pros: Perfect location, away from the touristy areas but still just an 8-minute walk to the centrum. The room was spacious and well-kept with a beautiful view of the garden. The bath and sauna were such a great experience, not something I come across often in other B&Bs. However, the true highlight was Pumba the cat, who would graciously join us for moments of relaxation.

Cons: The kitchen had everything we needed, though a small induction stove would’ve made it even better for cooking.

Pros: I liked the location, the place is very beautiful and comfortable.

Cons: Checkout is at 10 a.m., which is too early for a place like this. There weren’t many utensils available to cook, no sponge to wash the dishes, and no coffee mugs. We had to leave our luggage after checkout because of the early hour, but we didn’t like that they don’t take responsibility for it. Nothing happened to our bags, but still, they should have a secure place to store luggage—especially with such an early checkout. They could also improve the pillows; they’re not terrible, but considering the price, they should be better. Also, the cleanliness could be improved—we found a fingernail on the nightstand.

Highly recommended for a city trip in Giethoorn

Pros: Perfect location in Giethoorn, very calm neighborhood at 15 minutes walking from the old town. The owner is very kind and the communication before arriving was perfect. We had all we needed in the B&B.
