Host was super welcoming, informative about the area and how to get about and what to do.

Cons: On the whole I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s queriess is what makes it attractive

Pros: We loved everything about this B&B. Our host was very welcoming and helpful with all kinds of information- history, places to go, things to see and do. We had many laughs and exceptional breakfasts in a beautiful dining room. The breakfast was generous and with great variety. The room was well appointed as was the whole house, being for generations a family home with unique interior design. We have no hesitation in recommending this residence. It was a short stroll through a beautiful park to the ferry which transported us every 10 mins to the city centre where there were great places to eat and shops to visit.

Pros: Wonderful old house - a warm welcome from host who spent time over tea telling us all about the history of Deventer. Just a short walk and foot ferry into the the centre of the old fascinating town. Comfortable room with everything provided, even if not the most modern - it was what we expected in a house so full of history. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wide range of fruit, yoghurt, cheese, eggs, meat etc - couldn't possibly have asked for more! A most delightful stay with outstanding hospitality.

Pros: Great and quirky B&B with good location for exploring Deventer (which is also worth it).

A wonderful experience to last a life time

Pros: The location is perfect — situated in a quiet part of Deventer, yet still close to the city center. There is a beautiful park in front of the place, which my window overlooks. The decor brings back memories of the past, as if time stood still. The breakfast was amazing! The caretaker of the house was very knowledgeable about the city and provided great guidance and suggestions for my visit. He was also very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Very cosy and special historical and tasteful environment. Yummie breakfast. Helpful and kind owner.

Enjoyable stay in an historic property

Pros: Interesting historic house and friendly hosts who greeted us with tea and cake on arrival. They also provided an excellent breakfast in the morning. It was also easy to access the main town of Deventer by using the foot ferry just across the park.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

A unique and cosy B and B, felt like I was staying in a minature version of a UK castle

Pros: The unique cosy atmosphere/decor of the B and B and the breakfast!

Cons: Although stated in the small print, I did not realise we were not allowed to come in a group of more than 2 people although I had booked for 4
