Pros: Good experience, very nice furnished, everything clean and looks new.

Cons: Hot without air conditioner.

Nice stay at barch home

Pros: Nice experience to stay on the barch home Reasonable price Nice location

Cons: Barch has certain limitations and it was very warm in side after a warm day (no aircon)

Zwartsluis Blue Houseboat

Pros: The Blue Houseboat was a very different experience to a normal hotel/b&b in a good way. Being on the water was very relaxing, quiet & peaceful. The location was great with a few choices for restaurants.

Peaceful and lovely place

Pros: Location was great, walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops but very peaceful location. Would have stayed a lot longer. There was tea, coffee and creamer there, great after a day’s cycling. Mini kettle was awesome, nice hot shower, easily lasted two showers.

Cons: Not a lot of storage combined with a lot of decoration - jugs, fake flowers teddies and trinkets. To use the dining table we would have had to move 2 vases of flowers, a lamp, 3 jugs, two pot things and a doily. So we didn’t bother!

A perfect getaway!

Pros: The hosts were very welcoming. We happened to reach earlier than the check-in time by almost three hours. The hosts let us in nonetheless.

Cons: If you're here to visit the Giethoorn village, it's far.

Pros: Very clean Beautiful location The houseboat has everything you need for the stay We will for sure come again !

A beautiful, beautiful experience

Pros: The view is something we could not get enough of. The whole area is so, so beautiful, so calm, so peaceful. If you really want to escape from busy and bustling everyday life, this is a place to go. Zwartsluis is a small town , but it does have couple of nice restaurants. We enjoyed walking next to the water and admiring the sunset. If you would still like to have more activities available, the city of Zwolle and Watertown Giethoorn are nearby. The communication with the landlord was fantastic. Whatever we asked for , we’ve got an answer or help immediately. When asking for a pair of slippers , we’ve even got warm socks 🙈

Cons: I’ll write some issues we had so that the future guests know what to expect. This is a houseboat so some things as water and electricity are kind of limited . When one person takes a shower, the other one needs to wait maybe for an hour or so till the water pump is full again. When all heaters are on, if you want to let’s say make coffee and turn the coffee machine on, the power goes down. So while making the coffee or breakfast on the stove, we first made sure that the heaters were off. The WiFi is weak and it’s the best from the bedrooms. All those things haven’t made our experience any worse, still had a great time 🙂

Pros: Locatie en nieuwe ervaring op een houseboat. En de communicatie met de eigenaar.

Cons: Best vol met decoratie en geen tv omdat we kind bij hadden. En jammer wifi kapot was.

uniek leuk uitje met vriendinnen

Pros: het terrasje, het was nog een mooie nazomerse avond en heerlijk om de avond buiten te zitten in deze rustige haven met mooi uitzicht

Cons: 1 slaapkamer was geheel gevuld met matras/bed. met deur open omkleden en je tas/koffer buiten deze kamer, voorkeur iets kleiner bed zodat je er nog naast kunt staan

Unique, modern accommodation on the water, moored in a pretty harbour

Pros: Unique accommodation on the water. Space is limited but well organised. The terrace overlooks the harbour, offering a lovely view.

Cons: That's typical of this type of accommodation. The rooms are quite small and the pump in the bathroom is a bit noisy.
